Hiking, dirt biking
Memorial day weekend
the fun never ends.

The best invention
in the whole world of flavors
was the popcicle.

My sister comes back
and we are going to have

The rain has returned
it brings a gloomy feeling

In another place
people prepare for summer
here, it is winter.

Haiku Wednesday

I wore a short skirt,
thinking it would be warm out.
Cold legs protested.

At least I looked cute,
because that's all that matters.
I said to myself.

The day continued,
and it did not get warmer.
My poor legs shivered.

And now I wonder
if tomorrow will be worth
another short skirt.
