Thousands of people gathered at the Columbia Tower in Seattle today to take part in the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Big Climb Event.
The bottom floor of the Columbia Tower teemed with people preparing for the climb. |
That's a total of 1,311 steps and 788 feet of vertical elevation.
Last year, this event raised more than $1.6 billion.
Throughout the climb, there were dedication posters of loved ones who had suffered from a type of Leukemia or Lymphoma.

It was a beautiful day for a wonderful event. Thank you to everyone who donated to the Big Climb!
Climbing 69 flights of stairs is no small task, but the view from the top made it worth it. |
