Haiku Wednesday

I wake up and smile.
The sun shines through my window.

A spring break morning.

I am on spring break!

I leave in three months,
for my trip to la belle France.
Made my packing list.

I hear a small meow.
A cat jumps onto my chest,
and purrs in my face.
